Q. Rewriting the last monologues of Doctor faustus with insights from bhagat Singh's arguments reflect on the concluding monologue of marlowe's incorporating insights from Bhagat Singh's essay " why I am an atheist". Consider how Singh's perspective on freedom , oppression, and revolutionary thoughts can offer new dimensions to faustus' final lament.
      Bhagat Singh ( 1907 to 1931)

Bhagat Singh (1907-31) was a revolutionary in the Indian independence struggle. Post his graduation, he worked as a writer and editor for Punjabi and Urdu newspapers, advocating Marxist theories. Having popularized the phrase ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ or ‘Long live the revolution!’, he was later given death penalty for the murder of an English officer.

Now the reflection of this essay on the Dr. Faustus . Dr. Faustus is a Renaissance tregedy written by the Cambridge scholar Christopher Marlow.

The full title of the play is " The tragical history of the life and death of doctor faustus".

The name faustus is a reference to the Latin word for " favoured" or "auspicious".

DR. FAUSTUS:

- Dr. Faustus was written in between the years 1588 to 1599.

- Marlowe narrated the story of an over ambitious scholer's desire to be a demy god .

- Marlowe projected the Renaissance spirit man.

✴️Conflict of Dr. Faustus:

🔸Arrival of angles persuade him.


1) Good angle: " faustus repent yet god will pity thee."

2) Evil angel: " though are a spirit god can't pity thee."

🔸 Involves in conflict.
